If you wish to make your own, then that is even easier. All you will need is a book and a few extra things you can see around the house. Your family will really, like to have something you created yourself. So, just follow the underlying steps to make your Book-Photo frame.

• Your initial step is the choice of a book with cool colors and a nice cover. You can either pick an old one that you had on the shelf, visit your most liked bookstores or search through masses of second-hand books for sale at flea markets. Keep in mind during shopping that the ideal book for this cause is the one with a rigid cover and has a frame taken out from it.

• The moment you open the book; you will see the inside front jacket. This is exactly the region where you will want to keep the picture to be framed. Gently trace this area with a pencil.

• Next, you will need a strong knife or a box cutter to cut beside the traced line down the book’s cloth, however not through it. A little caution must be exercised for this step and children should not be allowed to do it without supervision.

• Afterwards, you should scratch away cardboard from the book in such a manner that the book’s cloth still remains attached to it.

• Make a short opening in the book’s cloth cautiously. Assure that one inch of the frame of book’s cover remains close to the frame opening.

• Next, you have to cut the cloth diagonally in each corner turn the book’s cloth over the edge and join it with a tape or cloth with the inner cover. This gives a clear opening to your frame. You can further get creative by making a white frame and cutting out a smaller opening from the initial page. You can tape your snapshot to the back of this page.

• Though simple taping appears nice, you can also go for a substitute by using picture album corners or picture-mounting corners. Cut the slit that is a little smaller than the actual dimensions of the snapshot, and make use of the corners on the inside of the book. You can also make these corners all by yourself by trimming the corners from some old envelopes.

The moment your picture frame is ready, insert some nice pictures into it. You can share your best snapshots by placing the frame on the end table so that everyone can have a look at it.
