It is important that the mattress has small air holes which enable air to flow in when a person is resting. The water proof mattress gets completely blocked and air is not able to enter inside.
Some companies reduce this problem by having deeper ridges in the mattress to allow air to pass thru the gaps.
Even though there are grey shades to this, the mattress still holds the market and attracts many customers.
